Trial Terms
Last updated: March 1, 2026
These Trial Terms govern your participation in any free or discounted trial period offered by Default Agency. By activating a trial, you agree to these Trial Terms in addition to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. Trial Eligibility
Trial offers are available to:
- New clients who have not previously enrolled in Default Agency's credit restoration services
- One trial per person — trials are non-transferable and may not be combined with other promotions
- Individuals who are at least 18 years of age and legal residents of the United States
We reserve the right to verify eligibility and to revoke trial access if eligibility requirements are not met.
2. What the Trial Includes
During the trial period, you will have access to:
- Full credit report analysis (one pull per bureau, where applicable)
- Identification of potentially disputable negative items
- Your personalized Score Roadmap — an AI-generated month-by-month credit score projection
- Access to the client portal dashboard, dispute tracker, and Score Simulator
- Up to 3 dispute letters prepared and ready for review
- Initial AI Credit Coach consultation (limited to 10 messages during trial)
3. What the Trial Does Not Include
- Submission of dispute letters to credit bureaus (letters are prepared but not sent until enrollment)
- Ongoing monthly monitoring or follow-up disputes
- Bureau response processing and escalation
- Unlimited AI Credit Coach access
- Billing portal and invoice history (available upon full enrollment)
4. Trial Period and Duration
The trial period begins on the date you activate your account and lasts for the number of days specified at sign-up (typically 7 days). At the end of the trial period:
- Your portal access will remain active but features will be restricted to view-only
- No charges will be applied automatically — you must actively enroll to continue receiving services
- Your prepared dispute letters and analysis will remain accessible for 30 days after trial expiration
5. No Automatic Billing
In compliance with the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA), Default Agency does not collect any payment before services are rendered. Your trial will not automatically convert to a paid subscription. You will be presented with enrollment options at the end of your trial period and must actively choose to enroll and sign a service agreement before any fees are charged.
6. Three-Day Right to Cancel
If you choose to enroll in full services at any point (including during the trial), you retain your right under CROA to cancel the service agreement within three (3) business days of signing the contract without penalty. Please see our Terms & Conditions for full cancellation details.
7. Credit Report Inquiry
A soft inquiry (which does not affect your credit score) may be performed during the trial to access your credit data for analysis purposes. This inquiry is conducted with your explicit consent provided during registration. A hard inquiry will not be performed without separate written authorization.
8. Trial Data and Privacy
All data collected during your trial period — including your credit report data, personal information, and portal activity — is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If you do not enroll after the trial, we will retain your data for the minimum period required by law and then delete or anonymize it upon request.
9. No Guarantee of Results
Score Roadmap projections and dispute analyses provided during the trial are generated by AI and are estimates only. They do not constitute a guarantee of any specific credit score improvement. Actual results depend on many factors outside our control including creditor responses, bureau processing times, and your overall credit activity.
10. Termination of Trial
We reserve the right to terminate your trial access at any time if:
- You provide false or inaccurate information during registration
- You attempt to abuse or circumvent trial eligibility restrictions
- You violate our Terms & Conditions or engage in prohibited activities
Termination of your trial does not create any financial obligation on your part.
11. Modifications to Trial Offers
Default Agency reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any trial offer at any time without notice. Changes will not affect trials already in progress at the time of the change.
